This module aims to develop skills and competence in listening and speaking classical Arabic. It will enhance students’ ability to understand Arabic when it is spoken by others. It will enable students to communicate effectively for religious, academic, social and day-to-day situations; and be able to initiate and sustain conversations on a variety of topics, and to demonstrate a sound understanding of the Arabic language, its culture and religious contexts.
